(nee Darby), Burin Bay June 7, 2008 — Shortly after her 82nd birthday at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, she answered the call to go to her heavenly home. Predeceased by husband, George H. Brushett, sisters Major Hannah Darby, Beatrice Fillier, and Lexie Noseworthy, and brother Major Enos Darby. Left to remember her beautiful smile, her unconditional love, and many happy and joyous occasions are daughters — Gladys Maye (Gerald) Marystown, Marlene Webber (Jim) Ottawa, Ont., Ena Newman (Gary) Trenton, Ont., and son, Allan (Dawn) Salt Pond; her grandchildren — Mark Brushett (Patricia), Steven Maye, Kristina Newman, Andrew Maye, Jason Newman, and Jennifer Brushett; her brother Morgan Darby (Effie), Collins Cove, and brother-in-law, Rene Fillier (Ellen), Clarke's Beach, her life-long friend Violetta Hollett, Toronto, Ont., friends from the Marystown Retirement Home, co-workers from the old Burin Cottage Hospital and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lt. Randy and Diane Kirby to officiate funeral service from Serenity Chapel on Monday, June 9, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. with interment following at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Big Salmonier.
