(May 25, 1937-June 8, 2008) Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Center on Sunday, June 8, 2008. Charlie Follett aged 71 years. Predeceased by his wife: Mercedes Follett (nee Walsh) and parents: Henry and Margaret Follett. Leaving to mourn his sons: Shawn and Joshua; brother: Robert (Theresa); sister: Lorriane Hand (Gary); long-time companion: Marie Nolan; his best friend who was like a daughter to him: Margaret "Peggy" Lahey; two granddaughters: Alisia and Kayla; six nephews and one niece; special nephew: Ken Follett, who has been with Charlie throughout his illness, as well was many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral service with be held from Barrett's Chapel, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Belvedere Cemetery.
