FARRIS, EVERETT GEORGE The death of E. George Farris of Cambridge Narrows, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, February 26, 2004. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Everett Farris and husband of Penny Farris. Everett was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces (Air Force). He was a Gentleman Farmer and enjoyed working on his farm in Cambridge Narrows. Everett also was an avid golfer and enjoyed collecting baseball hats. Survived by his wife, Penny; mother, Lois Farris; three daughters, Sonja Farris of Fredericton, NB, Laura Heffern (Troy) of Petawawa, ON and Patricia Munn-Farris (Mike) of Fredericton, NB; one sister, Sandra Nickerson of Fredericton, NB; four grandchildren, Ashley Farris, Natasha Heffern, EmilyAnnie Heffern and Kristian Thompson; two nieces and one nephew. Predeceased by his father, Everett and his infant brother. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, March 1st, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
