ZONA CAVELL CARSON

CARSON, ZONA CAVELL The death of Zona Cavell Carson of Fredericton, wife of Clarke Carson, occurred on March 2, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Ludlow, NB, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Alberta (Dudley) Palmer. Zona was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Steven (Pam), David (Carol) and Brent (Mary) all of Fredericton; three daughters Debrah Gibson of Fredericton, Cindy (Tom) Wood of Moorefield, ON. and Treena (Gordon) Paul of Fredericton; a chosen daughter, Mary-Ann Banks of Maugerville; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother Blake Palmer of Ludlow; four sisters Viola (Jim) Strachan of Taxis River, Carolyn Palmer of Ludlow, Alberta (Richard) Bunn of Toronto ON and Janet (James) Everly of Newfoundland; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her Parents Mrs. Carson was pre-deceased by one infant son Edward Carson; one brother Bruce Palmer and one sister Dora Stillman. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday March 5, 2004 at 2 PM from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in the St. James Anglican Cemetery, Ludlow. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
