WHELPLEY, WILLIAM "BILL" The death of William "Bill" Whelpley of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on March 20, 2004. Bill loved Bowling and was an amateur radio operator. Bill is survived by his mother Joan (Tuck) Whelpley of Fredericton, and was predeceased by his grandparents James and Emily Tuck. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, with Rev. David Fisher officiating. Interment will take place at the Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
