STUART, MARY (NEE VANSTONE) Mary Stuart (nee Vanstone). Born October 27, 1924, died peacefully on March 28, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was the daughter of Byron Samuel Vanstone and Myrtle Irene Vanstone (nee Corner) of Toronto. She was an inspiration to her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Ron, her four sons and their families, Brian (Lorna, Jana, Andrea), David (Lorraine, Jacob, Colin), Robert, and Craig (Patricia, Peter, Heather, Justin), all of whom benefited greatly from the deep love she shared with them. Mary attended Bishop Strachan School and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Toronto in 1946. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1 followed by a memorial service on Friday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m., both at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Homes located at 307 Riverside Drive in Saint Lambert, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be encouraged.
