McKINNEY, MARILYN LOUISE (WOODILL) The death of Marilyn L. (Woodill) McKinney of Gagetown, NB occurred on Friday, April 9th, 2004 at the age of 57. Born in Sydney, NS she was the daughter of Wells and Maisie (Andrews) Woodill and wife of John McKinney. Marilyn trained as a nurse at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS. Her career included working at the Victoria General, the Gagetown Clinic and most recently at the Oromocto Public Hospital right up until the time of her illness. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church ACW, she enjoyed farming, gardening and she loved to cook. Survived by loving family, her husband, John of Gagetown, NB; two sons, Eric of Toronto, ON and Wells of Gagetown, NB; two daughters, June Pleadwell (Derek) and Joy McKinney both of Fredericton, NB; four brothers, Raymond Woodill (Patricia) of Riverview, NB, David Woodill, Gregory Woodill (Mary) and Richard Woodill (Debbie) all of Halifax, NS and one sister, Gloria Connors (Neil) of Halifax, NS, one sister-in-law , Claudia; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Monday, April 12th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Gagetown, on Tuesday, April 13th, 2004 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Gerald Laskey will officiate.
