TATTRIE, LOUIS EVERETT It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Louis Everett Tattrie on Saturday, April 10th, 2004 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Tatamagouche, NS he was the son of the late Henry and Ida (Watson) Tattrie. Louis was a veteran of WWII and then joined the Black Watch and 2RCR, which he served for 20 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 93 Oromocto and served several times on the executive. Louis was formerly married to Martha (McKinnon) and they have seven children; Gerald of Brantford, ON, Cindy Talbot - Nickling (Jim) of Harley, ON, Henry (Dee) of Valrico Florida, USA, David of Harvey, NB, Tim (Tracy) of St. Albert, AB, Rhoda Clements (Mike) of Oromocto, NB and Lori Redmond (John) of Oromocto, NB; ten grandchildren, Louis, Cindy, Tara, Jeremy, Shawna, Holly, Chelsey, Dean, Scott and Ashley; four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and his long time friend Greta Thomas of Fredericton, NB. He was predeceased by his parents and infant son Stephen. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 93 will hold a tribute service on Monday, April 12th, 2004 at 7:00 pm with visitation to follow from 7-9 pm at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 13th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Margie Patterson will officiate. Interment will be held in Tatamagouche, NS at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. www.oromoctofh.com
