MARION (MARIE ANNE) KETCH

KETCH, MARION (MARIE ANNE) The death of Marion (Marie Anne) Ketch of Fredericton, beloved wife of Albert E. Haines, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, April 19, 2004. Daughter of the late Ulysse and Marguerite (Amirault) Comeau. Marion was actively involved in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the CWL, a lifelong member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 4, and she was a volunteer at York Manor for many years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her husband she is survived by nieces Doris Vahey (Tom) of Colorado Springs, Marilyn Archibald (John) of Fredericton, and Deborah DeMerchant (Bob) of Fredericton; nephews Donald D'Entremont (Rita) of USA, James Comeau (Dina) of Brookline New Hampshire, Ulysse Comeau (Joan) of Massachusetts, and Andrew Comeau (Debbie) of Fredericton; several great nieces and nephews, several great great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and first husband (Richard Ketch) she was predeceased by brothers Edmond, Charles, Clarence, James and stepbrother Louis Robichaud, and sisters Augusta and Margaret. By request of the family there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, April 22 at 11 AM. Rev. John Malasi will officiate. Interment will take place at St. Anthony's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. No flowers by request.
