GLENDENNING, GUY E. The death of Guy E. Glendenning, 91, of Canobie, NB, occurred Sunday, 18, April, 2004, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 91. Born in Canobie he was the son of the late Raymond and Hilda (Ellis) Glendenning. He worked at the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill for 28 years and was a member of the companys quarter century club. He was a 50 year member of Lodge St. John Masonic Lodge 27 A&H and a member of Central United Church, Clifton. He is survived by his wife, Verna (Daley) Glendenning, three sons, Elmer (Carol), Keswick Ridge, Chester (Judy), Langley, BC, Chip (Kristina), Bathurst, three daughters, Dorothy of Clifton, Dora Mae (Lawrence), Clifton, Hazel Miller (Hanson), Salmon Beach, four sisters, Ada Scott, Fran Daley (Elmer) and Margaret Peters (Peg) all of Bathurst, Ruby Borland (Bob), Clearwater, Fla., one brother, George (Alma), Bathurst, 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by four sisters, Alice, Shirley, Murial and Patricia, three brothers, Sterne, Gordon and Marson. The body is at Elhatton Funeral Home, 187 St. George Street, Bathurst. Visiting hours are from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be from Central United Church, Clifton on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Eagles officiating. Interment in The Stonehaven Cemetery later in the spring.
