ARTHUR C. CLARK

CLARK, ARTHUR C. Arthur C. Clark formally of Maugerville and Rusagonis passed away at the York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton, on Wednesday April 28, 2004 at the age of 104. He was the son of the late Chesley and Sarah Clark. and husband of the late Lillian (Palmer) Clark. Arthur was an Honorary Warden of Christ Church Anglican Church in Maugerville. Survived by one son, Ronald (Ethel) Clark, one daughter Doris (Jackie) Phillips. Grandchildren, Cindy (Tim) Congram, John (Kathy) Phillips, David (Susan) Phillips, Blaine (Mary Rogers) Phillips, Janet Phillips and Kevin Phillips. Great-grandchildren, Erin, Jill, Joshua, Melissa, Jessica, Rebecca, Amanda and Alyssa, as well as several nieces and nephews. one sister-in-law Mrs. Alice Mersereau. Arthur was predeceased by his wife, two brothers Walter and Fred, and a sister Edith Beam. He retired in 1966 after working for 21 years for Capital Co-operative Ltd in Fredericton. Prior to 1966 he worked at farming, woods work and at an assembly line at the Pontiac Car Plant in Detroit, USA. Resting at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton with visiting hours Saturday, May 1st, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 2nd, 2004 at 3:00 pm from Christ Church Anglican Church, 1381 Route 105 Highway, Maugerville. Rev. Keith Howlett officiating. Interment will take place in the Maugerville Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the charity of the donor's choice. www.mcadamsfh.com
