GORMAN, O.D. (BUD) The death of O.D. (Bud) Gorman, of Fredericton, N.B., occurred at The Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 5, 2004. He was the son of the late Ralph & Margaret (Owen) Gorman. He worked for NBTel for 42 years, retiring in 1983; as well he was a member of the Golden Age Club. He was a curling enthusiast, and a past president of the Capital Winter Club Bud was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Wright) Gorman, two sons Ralph (Eldena) Gorman and Michael (Susan) Gorman, six grandchildren, Heather, Kelly, Mark, Erica, Deanna, and Catherine and one sister Barbara (Albert) DeWitt. Predeceased by his parents and his first wife, Edna. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home with visiting hours Thursday, May 6, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm. Memorial service will be held at Wilmot United Church on Friday, May 7, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Chris LeVan officiating. Interment will be in the Rural Cemetery at a later date.
