FARRELL, ANNE MARIE (BURKE) Died peacefully on May 21, at York Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. She was 43 years old. Anne is survived by her parents, Beverly and Harry Dunbar of Fredericton; daughter, Laura Ann Farrell of McAdam, aunts Evelyn Piercy and Mavis Burke, cousins James Piercy (Patricia Dineen) and their children Grace, Anna, Jim, Jack and Julia of Fredericton, Janis Hynes and her daughter, Erin, of Ottawa, Mary Ellen McKinney (John) and Kathryn Burke of Fredericton, cousins in Connecticut, half-sisters and brothers; and special friends Joyce and Daryl Dunster. Also left to fondly remember Anne's charm and sense of humour are the exceptional staff of York Manor Nursing Home. Predeceased by beloved maternal grandmother, Gladys "Gram" Burke, and uncles Kenneth Burke and Frank Piercy. A memorial service to celebrate Anne's life will be held Wednesday, May 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road. Following interment at Barony Cemetery, family will welcome friends and loved ones at the home of Mary Ellen and John McKinney, 778 Charlotte Street. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
