HERMISTON, JUNE The death of June (MacKenzie) Hermiston of Fredericton, occurred suddenly on Friday, May 21st, 2004 at her home. Born in Campbellton, NB she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marion (Campbell) MacKenzie and wife of Jack Hermiston. June enjoyed curling and was a longtime member of the Capital Winter Club. She was also an avid reader and bridge player. June was a warm, wonderful person with a great sense of humour. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Survived by Jack, her husband of 51 years; daughters, Sue Foster (Bruce) of Ottawa, ON, Nancy Hermiston of Brampton, ON and Ann Cenne (Peter) of Ottawa, ON; grandchildren Karen, Spencer, Christopher, Kirsten, Heather and Laura; two great grandchildren; sister, Mary Wetmore of Fredericton, NB, brothers, Mel MacKenzie (Hazel) of Minto, NB, Ted MacKenzie (Glenda) of Hamilton, ON and Blair MacKenzie of Victoria, BC. June will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews, especially Terri-Ann and Scott. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 25th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the SPCA would be appreciated.
