RIVERTON - Kathleen Anita (Moore) Lawrence, 89, of the Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of Brown Row, Stellarton, died peacefully, August 15th, 2007, in her sleep, accompanied by loved ones. Born in Westville, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Rhuda) Moore. She was a member of Sharon St. John United Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by sons: Robbie (Anne), ON; Fraser (Marlene), New Glasgow; Barry (Sharon), Westville; Steve (Debby), Stellarton; sisters-in-law, Violet Whytewood and Dot MacDonald, both of Stellarton; 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Mary Cameron, Stellarton. She was predeceased by her husband, Whitman Lawrence; daughters, Judy and Mary Lynn; granddaughter, Cathy Lawrence, Ontario; six brothers and three sisters. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. A private family burial will take place in the Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in memory of Kathleen may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of one's choice.
