YOUNG, LOUISE (ROCHE) The death of Louise (Roche) Young of Fredericton, wife of the late John Young, occurred at home on Thursday, June 10. Born in Willow Grove NB, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Frances (Hector) Roche. Mrs. Young was a member of the Devon Park Baptist Church where she took an active part in Caleb's Clan and the Women's Friendly Auxiliary. She was a past volunteer for the Red Cross and York Manor. Louise is survived by son Gary Young of Fredericton; daughters Roslyn Frank of Longueuil PQ, Marsha McGarvie of Fredericton, and Claire Richardson of Portland ME; grandchildren Coretta Frank, Shalaine Perra-Young, Tye McGarvie and Lucas McGarvie; brothers Clarence and Albert Roche (Katherine), both of Saint John; sister Mary Martin of Longueuil PQ; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one son Brian; brothers John, Leroy and James Roche; sisters Josephine Brown, Mildred Roche and Isabel Coleman. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Saturday, June 12 from 7-9 PM and Sunday, June 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at Devon Park Baptist Church on Monday, June 14 at 2 PM. Rev. Lawrence Meade will officiate. Interment will be held at the Sunny Bank Cemetery.
