CARR, GWENDOLINE At the York Manor Nursing Home on June 11, 2004 Gwendoline Carr, age 91, of Fredericton passed away. Born in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the late George and Pheobe (Jackson) Shafe. She is survived by two sons Malcolm Carr and his wife Blanche, George Carr and his wife Sharon all of Fredericton; four daughters Rosina Long and Bill of Fredericton, Rowena Chaters and her husband Henry of Calgary, Eileen Grasse and her husband Sonny of Fredericton, Pamela Tobin and her husband Eric of Newfoundland; 26 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Harley and by two daughters Kathryn and Christina. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service will be held on Monday June 14, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road with Peter Somerville, Director of Pastoral Care, York Manor officiating.
