LORD, OLIVE A. (THOMAS) On Saturday, June 12, 2004, Olive Almeda Lord passed away peacefully at home. Born in Tracy, October 9, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Fannie (Tracy) and Willard Thomas. She was predeceased by her husband Charles E. Lord, twin infant sons Ronald and Rodney, sister Adelaide Thomas and brothers Roscoe and Bliss Thomas. She is survived by three daughters: Delphine MacLean (Blake), Harvey; Sheila Young (Dave), Nackawic; and Pat Thomason (Basil), Tracy; three sons: Rolly (JoAnn), Fredericton; Glendon (Gweneth), Fredericton Junction, and Bernard (Lesley), Quispamsis; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Harris, Saint John; one brother, Darrell Thomas (Eldora), Fredericton; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church, and for many years a member of the ladies sewing circle and Gladstone Chapter O.E.S. Visitation will be at Tracy United Baptist Church Family Center, Tracy, NB, Tuesday, June 15, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held from the Tracy United Baptist Church, Wednesday, June 16 at 2:00 with the Reverend James Harrison officiating. Interment in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Craig Lord, Kevin Lord, Bradley MacLean, Keenan Lord, Jeffrey Young and Chuck Thomason. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters: Heather Eagar, Karen Morton, Jennifer Young and Trudy Mott; grandsons: Mark Lord, Keith Lord, Jamie Young and great grandson Matthew Eagar. Reception to follow in the Family Center. For those who wish, memorial tributes to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Red Cross or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
