REID, JOAN VESTA The death of Joan Vesta (Randall) Reid of Beaverdam, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 10, 2004. Born in Waasis, NB, Joan was the wife of Murray Reid and the daughter of the late Norman Randall and Amy (Nason) Briggs Randall. Joan is survived by her husband Murray; one son, Norman Reid and his wife Coleen of Beaverdam; three daughters, Mary Caterini and her husband Terry of Beaverdam, Reta Allen and her husband Larry of Penniac, NB, and Patricia Reid- Hodgson of Fredericton, NB; nine grandchildren, Kelli Reid of Fredericton, Jennifer Carpenter and her husband Jamie of Fredericton, Keith Allen of Penniac, Sarah Hodgson of Toronto, ON, Tara Reid, Brett Reid, Joey Caterini, Christina Caterini and Jeffrey Caterini all of Beaverdam; six brothers, Norman Randall and his wife Helene of Quesnel, BC, Lester Randall of Quesnel, Chester Randall of Quesnel, Glen Briggs and his wife Mary of Quesnel, BC, Archie Randall of Waasis, and Stirling Briggs and his wife Bernice of Fredericton; and two sisters, Loretta Briggs of Quesnel and Debbie Briggs of Prince George, BC. There will be no public visitation by request. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Peter G. Sommerville Director of Pastoral care York Manor officiating. Interment will take place in the Beaverdam Anglican Burial Ground following the service. Memorial tributes made to The New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
