HAROLD EDWARD GILL

GILL, HAROLD EDWARD The passing of Harold Edward Gill of Fredericton, occurred suddenly on July 18th, 2004 at Killarney Lake. Born in Fredericton in 1952, he was a son of Winifred (Richard) Gill and the late Albert Edward Gill. Mr. Gill was employed as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for NB Power. Harold's pleasures included motorcycles, hunting and fishing; he enjoyed metal work and specialized in designer hunting knives. Besides his mother, Harold is survived by one brother, Danny Gill (Nancy) of Red Rock, NB; one sister, Tina Gill of Grand Manan; he was the godfather of one niece, Melanie Wilson and two nephews, Jordan and Christopher Gill. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Tuesday, July 20th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, July 21st, 2004 at 2 pm from St. Anthony's Church, Union St., Fredericton with Father Monte Peters as the Celebrant. Interment will be held in the Douglas Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
