PHILLIPS, WAYNE ALTON At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday July 19, 2004, Wayne Alton Phillips, age 57, of Fredericton passed away. Born in Fredericton and a plumber by trade, Wayne was very active in sports playing for many years in the senior hockey circuit throughout the Maritimes. He was a member of the Miramichi Salmon Association, an avid fisherman. He is survived by his mother Muriel (Arbeau); 2 sisters Bonnie Mazerolle (Leon) of Harvey, Madelin Boies (Paul) of Fredericton; 3 nephews Christopher and Michael Mazerolle and Jason Boies; aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his father Alton Phillips. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, where visitation will be held Wednesday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Thursday July 22, 2004 at 2 pm with Paul McGrattan officiating. Interment in the Rural Extension Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
