DOUGLAS MALCOLM CAIRNS
CAIRNS, DOUGLAS MALCOLM Passed away at home on Saturday, July 24, 2004, Douglas Malcolm Cairns, age 59 of Mazerolle Settlement. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Marks) Cairns. He was Baptist by faith and was employed as a truck driver for the Dept. of Fisheries. Douglas was an avid hunter, four wheeler and a snowmobiler. He was also a member of the Lake George Snowmobile Club. Survived by his wife Una, four children, Pam Whitlock (Jr), Ferguson Road, Malcolm Cairns (Lois), Killarney Road, Don Cairns (Karla) Charters Settlement, David Cairns of Mazerolle Settlement, one brother Murray Cairns (Jean) of Saint John, seven grandchildren, Holly, Brandon, MacKenzie, Kyle, Justin, Beth and Bradley, three great grandchildren, Zachery, Brittany and Emma. Predeceased by his parents, six siblings, Wardey, Harding, Don, Emma, Ralph and Alma. No visitation at Doug's request. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the 2nd Kingsclear Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Allan Mazerolle officiating. Memorials to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or to a charity to the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
