PERLEY E. ROBINSON
ROBINSON, PERLEY E. The death of Perley E. Robinson, husband of the late Dorothy (Davidson) of Doaktown occurred on Saturday, July 31, 2004, at the Veteran's Health Unit, Fredericton. Born in Doaktown, he was a son of the late Gordon and Allie (Brown) Robinson. Perley was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed farming. Perley is survived by one daughter, Judy Gaunce of Doaktown; three grandsons, David Gaunce of Fredericton, Andrew (Jamie) Gaunce of Harvey Station, Sean (Jacquie) Gaunce of Halifax; one great-granddaughter, Alana Gaunce; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Perley was predeceased by two brothers, Luther and Vincent Robinson; one sister, Irene Kervin and son-in-law Doug Gaunce. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB, on Monday, August 2 from 7-9 pm with a Legion Tribute Service at 7. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 3, at 11 am from the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home with the Rev. Heather Froats officiating. Interment will take place in the Saint Thomas United Church Cemetery, Doaktown, NB. Pallbearers for the service will be David, Andrew and Sean Gaunce (grandsons) and Jason Moxon. Honourary pallbearers for the service will be Ronald Gaston, Ashton Carr, Charlie Robinson and Malcolm (Dunnor ) Brown.
