H. HAROLD H. FLANDERS

FLANDERS, H. HAROLD H. Harold Flanders formerly of Fawcett Hill, age 78, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 15, 2004 at the Jordan Life Care Center. Born March 11, 1926 in Plaster Rock, he was a son of the late Hubert and Adela (Neilsen) Flanders. He was a retired farmer and had worked for Agriculture Canada for 30 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the RCNVR. He attended St. Andrew's Anglican Church. He is survived by daughters, Carolyn Letersky of Grand Prairie, AB, Deborah Smith (Doug) of Petitcodiac; son, David Flanders (Brenda) of Fawcett Hill; sisters, Patricia Stuart and Mary Ann Birney both of Fredericton, Charlene Hilberer of Aldergrove, BC; sister-inlaw, Marion Flanders; brother, Marcus Flanders of BC; grandchildren, Kami Patterson (Jim), Ben Smith (Megan), Brodie Flanders all of Petitcodiac, Justin Flanders of Fredericton, Dallas Letersky and Nicole Letersky both of Grand Prairie, AB; great grandsons, Dalton and Matthew Patterson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise (Bulmer); sister, Shirley Philbrooks Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac, with visiting hours on Monday 7-9pm and Tuesday 7-9pm. The funeral will be held from Armstrong's Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
