ARMSTRONG, JOHN "JACK" JAMES The death of John "Jack" Armstrong of Burton, NB, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Tuesday, August 31st, 2004. Born in Oromocto, NB, he was the son of the late Adolphus and Annie (Barker) Armstrong and husband of Madeline (Colter) Armstrong. He is survived by his wife, Madeline; two sons, Steven (Lori) of Lincoln, NB and Garry (Beth) of Fredericton, NB; one daughter, Karen Leyte (Roland) of Dartmouth, NS and six grandchildren, James Armstrong, Rachel and Connor Leyte and Lee, Joey and Keri. Predeceased by his parents; brother, George; sister, Elsie Johnson and four half-brothers, William, Kenneth, Francis and Kirby Armstrong. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 1st, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Pine Grove United Church on Thursday, September 2nd, 2004 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Margie Patterson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
