PERCY MCLAUGHLIN
MCLAUGHLIN, PERCY Percy McLaughlin of Vancouver, BC, formerly of Fredericton, NB. Born March 29, 1928 in Chatham, NB, passed away on September 9, 2004 at Mt. St. Joseph's Hospital, Vancouver, BC. Predeceased by his mother and father and four brothers. He is survived by his loving wife Muriel. He is survived also by four children, Brian (Sylvie), Dana, Kim and Sean McLaughlin, Gary McLaughlin, Kevin McLaughlin (Tracy), Travis Gregan, Linda Stewart (Al) and Jessica Stewart; two sisters; one brother and several nieces and nephews also survive him. He was employed by The Federal Government in the Public Service as a Postal Worker for 35 years. He lived in New Brunswick most of his life but resided in British Columbia for the past 14 years. An avid bowler, he enjoyed golfing and swimming and took a keen interest in watching his "Hockey Night in Canada". He was a good provider and will be sorely missed by his family and many friends both here in BC and NB. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Phillip's Anglican Church, 3737 West 27th Avenue, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or other charities. The family wish to thank the staff at Dogwood Lodge and all nurses and Dr's Illing and Wilkins-Ho for their wonderful care at Mt. St. Joseph's Hospital.
