ROBINSON, GORDON ELDON The passing of Gordon Eldon Robinson occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 18th, 2004 he was 72. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late George and Margaret (Shute) Robinson. United Baptist by faith, and a former Deacon at Grace Memorial United Baptist Church as well as various church organizations; he was a retired NB Power travel accommodations manager and a former city police officer. Surviving are his wife Glenna (Hanson) Robinson, one son Randy Robinson (Julie) of Keswick Ridge, two daughters Linda Sandwith (Royce) of Fredericton, Lisa Martin of Fredericton, one brother George W. Robinson (Kay) of Fredericton, one half brother John Shute of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, one brother, Clarence Robinson and an infant sister, predeceases him. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Grace Memorial United Baptist Church on Wednesday September 22, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment will take place at 4:00 pm at the Sunny Bank Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Account or benevolent fund of Grace Memorial United Baptist Church or the donor's choice. Honorary pallbearers for the service will be: Phillip Currie, Phillip Lyons, Robert Walton, Giles Henry, Manford Ogden, Paul Watson, William Atkinson. Active pallbearers will be Lloyd Hanson, Lorne Hanson, Jeff Hanson, Darren Hanson, Mark Robinson, and Shane Donovan. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
