BREWER, VIOLET JANE Violet J. Brewer of Zealand passed away September 23, 2004 at her home. She was born at Zealand on September 14, 1915, a daughter of the late Elmer and Delhia (Estey) Brewer. Violet is survived by two daughters, Dinah Estey (Merle) and Faye Brewer (Wayne), both of Zealand; three sons, Arwood (Sandra), Merville (Jayne) and Glenwood (Judy), all of Zealand; a grandson, Dale Brewer (Esther), Zealand and several other grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Marshall E. Brewer in 1988, four daughters, Delhia and Delores Brewer, Roberta Hanson and Marie Stairs, a son Ernest Brewer and a sister, Myrtle Carten. Resting at the Zealand United Pentecostal Church, 2016 Route 104 with visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 2 p.m. Rev. Arol Brewer officiating. Interment will take place in the Zealand Community Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Dwight Stairs, Dale Brewer, David Estey, Patrick Hanson, Brian Stairs and Troy Brewer. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Trevor, Wayne, Gregeory, Justin, Mark and Kirk Brewer.
