BARKHOUSE, RITA GERARDA The death of Rita Gerarda Barkhouse of Oromocto, NB occurred at her home on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2004. Born in Canso, NS she was the daughter of the late Mark and Mary (Snow) Bond and wife of the late Roy Barkhouse. Survived by her children, William (Linda) Barkhouse of Port Credit, ON and Linda Weir (David) of Haneytown, NB; two grandchildren, Jason (Natalie) Weir of Fredericton, NB and Leeanne Weir of Haneytown, NB; two brothers, Malcolm and Ralph and one sister, Lollie all of New Glasgow, NS and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Roy; one brother, Donald; three sisters, Leona, Nora and Shirley. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, September 26th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Monday, September 27th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Monte Peters as celebrant.
