EDMONTON, ALBERTA – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Marie Denise Julieanne Beck, 73 years of age, on July 9, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer. Denise is predeceased by her mother, Marie Rose Anna Langlais; father, Joseph Rosaire L’Heureux; sister, Marie Emelie Clothilde Levesque; husband, James H. C. Beck II; and son, James H. C. Beck III. She is survived by her five remaining children: John C. Beck, Margaret A. Beck, Denise A. Beck, Vera L. Beck, Scott W. M. Beck; seven grandchildren: Danielle Beck, J. Colin Beck, George R. McKay, Christine A. D. Beck, Donald C. Beck, K. J. Dylan Adamuszak, Branden J. Adamuszak; two brothers (Quebec): Benoit (Claudette Noel)L’Heureux, Antoine L’Heureux; four sisters (Quebec): Marie-Anne and Francine L’Heureux, Micheline (Guy) LeMay, Danielle (Charles) Rossignol; and many other family members and friends who loved and cared very much for Denise. A special thank-you to Denise’s best friend, Karin Bilida (who was always there for her), and to all of her hospital care-givers and home-care nurses, in particular Elaine St. Laurent.
