TAIT, HARVEY WILLIAM The death of Harvey William Tait of Tay Creek, husband of the late Thelma Anita (Harvey) Tait, occurred on Saturday October 2, 2004 at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley NB, at the age of 91. He was the son of the late William and Margaret (McCrea) Tait. Mr. Tait was a member of the Sterling United Church, Tay Creek, retired farmer and school bus driver for 27 years. He is survived by two daughters Joyce Forbes (John) of Miramichi City and Sandra Coughlan (Raymond) of Fredericton NB; nine grandchildren Steven, Suzanne, Connie, Don, Judy, Kim, Heather, Chris and Nancy; twelve great grandchildren, one niece, one nephew; one son in law Don Nicolle of Ottawa, On and several cousins. Harvey was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by two brothers Norman and Carl; one daughter Marlene Conway Nicolle. Visitation will be at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton NB on Tuesday October 5, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. Burial will follow in the Sterling United Church Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be granddaughters Suzanne Matheson, Connie Jenkins, Judy O'Connor, Nancy Osmun, great granddaughters Tara Bennett, Allison Bennett and Erica Jenkins. Pallbearers will be Gordie Jenkins, Andrew Matheson grandsons Steven Forbes, Don Forbes, great grandsons Taylor Osmun and Greg Jenkins. For those who wish remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Sterling United Church, Tay Creek would be appreciated by the family.
