NIGHTINGALE, DENISE The death of Denise Nightingale, wife of Joseph Nightingale of Pleasant Drive, Minto, NB occurred on Monday, October 4, 2004 at the Queen's North Community Health Center at the age of 55. Born in Newcastle, NB, she is the daughter of Veronica (Bonnie) (McLean) McAllister of Newcastle, NB and the late Flemming McAllister. Besides her husband and mother, Denise is survived by: one daughter Veronica Corey of Minto, NB and one son, James (Angela) of Oromocto, NB; five sisters: Linda Waye (Tommie) of French Lake, NB; Bonnie Jean Blair (Jack) of Winnipeg, MB; Agnes Trevors (Reggie) of Curtis Road, NB; Marlene Geikie (Wayne) of Miramichi, NB; and Joanne White (Keith) of Kingston Peninsula NB; seven brothers: Sterling of Barrie, ON; Joe (Margaret) of Burnt River, ON; Donnie (Ardie) of Lower Newcastle, NB; Bernard of CI Road, NB; Vaughn (Nancy) of Nelson-Miramichi, NB; Allen (Patsy) of Chatham Head, NB; Gerald of Port Elgin, NB; three grandchildren: Jordan and Brianne Corey and Terry Nightingale. Besides her father, she is predeceased by sisters: Patricia, Beverly Gautreau and Eleanor Murray and one brother: Jackie. The family will receive visitors at Minto Funeral Home, 10 King Street, Minto on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 from 2-4 p.m. only and at Bell's Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi on Thursday from 2-4 and 79 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Friday at 10 a.m. with Father Sam Diotte officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the New Brunswick Kidney Foundation or to the IWK Hospital.
