ROLFE, GLENFORD HERSCHELL The passing of Glenford Herschell Rolfe of Nashwaak Village, husband of Thelma (McCoy) Rolfe, occurred on October 7, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton. Born in the Miramichi, he was a son of the late Herschell and Nina (Oak) Rolfe. Retired as a Mechanic for the Dept. of Transportation, Glenford enjoyed fourwheeling and was a member of the Amateur Radio Club. Mr. Rolfe was a member of the Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church. Besides his loving wife, Glenford is survived by two daughters, Sheila Rolfe (Jeff Colford) of Nashwaak Village and Sheryl LaBillois (Jim) of Lower Durham; one sister, Margaret Rolfe of Fredericton; two grandchildren, Katlyn and Ethan; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Besides his parents, Mr. Rolfe is predeceased by a son, Eugene and a granddaughter, Emma. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 9th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm from York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 10, 2004 at 3 PM from the Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church, Taymouth, with Pastor Michael T. Trail officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Centennial United Cemetery, Nashwaak Village. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church Building Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
