MUNN, NELSON J. The death of Nelson J. Munn of Astle, husband of Rose (Storey) Munn occurred on Monday, October 11, 2004, at his residence. Born in Hayesville, he was the son of the late Perley and Nancy Munn. Nelson enjoyed playing darts, fishing, hunting and listening to country music. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, Evan Munn of Boiestown, Jody MacBeth of Pennfield, Terry Russ of Calgary, Ricky Palmer of Calgary, Robert Burns of Halifax; three daughters, Nikki Sullivan (Randy) of Fredericton, Patricia Morneault (Daniel) of Bangor Maine, Wendy Fowler of Boiestown; two brothers, Benny Munn of Astle, Melvin Munn (Lorna) of Porter Cove; four sisters, Julia Price of Priceville, Ruby Goodfellow (Bobby) of Boiestown, Margaret Donnelly of Maple Grove, Helen Storey (Raymond) of Ottawa; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Isabelle Munn, Gertrude Beek, and Jospehine Hensal. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 12, at the Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, at 11 am at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Gardner officiating and assisted by Rev. Jody MacBeth. Interment will take place following the service at Bloomfield United Church Cemetery.
