DAVIDSON, ELIZABETH RUTH The death of Elizabeth Ruth Davidson (Lint) of Woodlands occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on October 19th, 2004, a month after her 83rd birthday. Her passing was due to a lengthy struggle with a heart related illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years Ernest Davidson in 1989, her son James Davidson in 1998 and her son-in-law Theodore Beek in 2004. She is survived by son Roy Davidson of Woodlands, daughter Leola Beek of Fredericton and daughter-in-law Shirley Davidson of British Columbia. Grandchildren Rose-Mary (Calvin) Thompson, Jason (Laurie) Davidson, Rebecca (Jeremiah) Davidson, Jamie (Tammy) Beek, Holly (David) Beek of Fredericton, Shelly (Shawn) Sidebottom of Alberta, Krista Davidson of British Columbia, Susan (Rick) Anderson of Scotch Settlement, NB, Brett Hansen of Kingsclear, NB. Great grandchildren, Kyle, Courtney, Calvin Thompson, Ashley and Alexander Davidson, Destiny Davidson, Faith Harvey, Bradley and Austin Beek all of Fredericton, E. J. and Nathanial Sidebottom of Alberta and Kenneth and Dawson Davidson of British Columbia. She was the oldest and last remaining member of her family. Born on McLeod Hill, she was predeceased by her mother and father Dorothy Leola (Shanks) and James Stanley Lint; Seven brothers Charles,Arnold, William, Hazen, Kenneth, Ralph and Eugene; Four sisters Vida Adams, Mary Carr, Shirley Storey and Ethel Munn. She is survived by sisters-in-law Marguerite Lint and Laura Davidson, brothers-in-law, Jack Adams and Percy Munn and one aunt, Margaret Shanks of Toronto. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. She was a member of the Woodland Union United Church. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Thursday 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Service at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 22, 2004 at 2 PM with Rev. Dwight Munn officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlands Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are grandsons, Jason Davidson, Calvin Thompson, Kyle Thompson and nephews, Ralph Pringle, Ivan Davidson and Arnold Davidson.
