FALL RIVER/NEW GLASGOW – Mary Ann Chisholm, 71, of Fall River, NS, passed away December 9, 2007, in the QE II Health Sciences Centre, V.G. Site, Halifax, after a brief illness. Mary Ann worked for the federal government for 36 years. She was a member of St. George's Anglican Church, New Glasgow. She loved to spend summers at D&B Campground, Black Point. Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Clarence; and grandson, Adam, at home; daughter, Michelle, and grandsons, Herbert and Joseph Connors, Beaver Bank; brother-in-law, Alden Chisholm, New Glasgow; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth (Sandy) MacDonald, Linacy; Joan (Hughie) Mason, Kentville; and Janet Chisholm, New Glasgow. She was predeceased by her foster parents, Sam and Mary Stewart of Pine Tree. At Mary Ann’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held in Woodburn Cemetery, Pictou County, at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007, with Rev. Peter Armstrong officiating.
