LYONS, RENDA ELIZABETH The death of Renda Elizabeth Lyons of Carrolls Crossing, NB, wife of the late Merle Lyons occurred on Sunday October 31, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born November 14, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Bernetta (Storey) Lyons. Renda was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a life member of A.C.W. Renda is survived by one daughter Gloria Lyons (David Sinclair) of ON; one son Harland (Nancy) Lyons of McNamee, NB;; one brother Sherwood Lyons of Boiestown, NB; four grandchildren Brent, Raquel, Mark and Wila; seven great grandchildren Jessica, Gregory, Britney, Dillen, Bowie, Malik and Courtney; special niece and nephew Elva Smith and Scott Cowie and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by one son Wilfred Lyons; four sisters Margaret, Louise, Essie and Mearle; four brothers Trevinion, Astley, Hazen and Sterling and one great grandson Joshua Lanktree. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will held from St. John's Anglican Church, Carrolls Crossing, NB on Wednesday at 2pm with Father David Titus officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Brent Lyons Lorri Fairley, David Sinclair, Gregory Harris, Glen Davidson and Willa Kerstens. Honourary pallbearers will be Harland Lyons, Scott Cowie, Elva Smith, Harold Lyons and Britney Fairley.For those who wish remembrances may be made to St. John's Anglican Church, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
