BEST, MARY (MAMIE) The death of Mary (Mamie) Best of Buton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, on Saturday, October 30th, 2004. Born in Sydney, NS, she was the daughter of tha late Thomas and Katherine (Jolie) Straker, and the wife of Samuel Best. Survived by her husband, Samuel Best; two sons, Stanley Best of Saint John, NB, and Volker (Leah) of Surrey, BC; one grandson, Michael Best of Surrey, BC, Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2004 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, November 3rd, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, November 4th, 3004 at 11:00 am. Rev. Ken Weir as Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.
