PREVOST, AMANDA The death of Amanda Prevost, previously of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home in Minto, NB on Friday, October 29th, 2004. Born in Bathurst, NB, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Chiasson) Lavigne and the wife of the late Leo Pierre Omer Prevost. Survived by four sons, Vaughn (Mildred) of Kitchner, ON, Marcel of Elliotte Lake,ON, Omer (Sue) of Kitchner, ON and Gerald (Jenny) of Kitchner, ON; three daughters, Rita Lint (Austin) of Fredericton, Pearl Howse (Gordon) of Kingston, ON and Melvina Prevost of Fredericton; sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, one brother, Alfred Lavigne; two sisters, Ihda and Albina Bizeau; one daughter - in- law, Sue. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB on Monday, November 1st, 2004 from 7-9 pm, and Tuesday, November 2nd, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2004 at 2:00 PM. Father Monte Peters as celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Anthony's Cemetery.
