SULLIVAN, VINCENT JAMES Vincent James Sullivan was born in Gladwyn on September 21, 1926. His mother and father were Phillip and Helen (Finnamore) Sullivan. He died very suddenly at home. He is survived by his loving wife Reta whom he has cherished for 54 years, and his seven children, Teresa (Doug) Sussey of Currie Siding; Bonnie (Keith) Worrall of Oromocto; John (Doreen) of Grand Manan; Richard at home; Allan (Brenda) of Gladwyn; Dale (Penny) of Edmonton; and Patrick (Tracy) of Saskatoon. He leaves behind 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren and his faithful dog, Teddy. He is predeceased by his granddaughter, Amy and his great granddaughter Sarah. He will take them into his arms when he meets them in heaven. He served for 25 years in the Royal Canadian Dragoons and retired in 1976. From there he worked at Fraser's for 14 years. He was a Masonic Lodge member. He had an enormous heart and a great love for life. He enjoyed people and friendships. His hobbies included gardening, bird watching, hunting, wood working, four-wheeling, playing cards and was good at just about anything he set his mind to. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him! Visitation was held at White's Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held at St. Mary Of The Angels Church in Andover Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 3 p.m. If you wish to remember Vince (Sully), donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated by his family.
