PINE TREE – Mary Jennette Surette, 81, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow, formerly of Pine Tree, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, in the Manor. Born in Frasers Mountain, she was a daughter of the late John and Florence Mae (Reid) MacKinnon. She was a devoted homemaker all her life. Surviving are daughter, Florence (Ed) McKearney, MacPhersons Mills; son, Leo Charles, New Glasgow; granddaughter, Jolene McKearney, Bridgewater; grandson, Justin Surette, Guysborough. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Joseph “Jim” Surette. Funeral service was held 11 a.m., Saturday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home chapel with Father Gary MacPherson officiating.
