COREY, GERALD LAWRENCE Gerald L. Corey, formerly of Temperance Vale passed away November 21, 2004 at Carleton Memorial Hospital. Born in Temperance Vale on April 6, 1929, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Virginia (MacFarlane) Corey. For the past five years Gerald made his home with Maureen and Donald Dow at Dow's Special Care Home in Scott Siding. In earlier years he assisted his father in the operation of a sawmill and a wood brokerage. He is survived by four aunts, Nina Corey, Saint John, Evelyn Corey, Nellie Corey, Betty Cummings (Edison), all of Nackawic. Also surviving are several cousins, including the committee responsible for Gerald's affairs, Doris Surette, Marion Kirkpatrick and Vincent Corey. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 2 p.m. Rev. Allen Myshrall officiating. Interment will be in the Temperance Vale Cemetery.
