COLWELL, ELIZA JANE BERNICE The death of Eliza Jane Bernice (Woodworth) Colwell, wife of the late Gerald Edward Colwell, of Durham Bridge occurred on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Taymouth, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ernest C. and Della L. (Sturgeon) Woodworth. Mrs. Colwell retired as a nurses assistant from Dixon Lodge, York Manor Nursing Home. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Gourley (Byron) of Pennfield, NB and Sharon Thomas of Marysville, NB; one step-daughter, Marie Brewster (Warren) of Kingsley, NB; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sisterin-law, Inez Woodworth. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs. Colwell was predeceased by an infant daughter, Argila May Stewart; one brother, Willis Weaver Woodworth, one sister, Anne Marguerite Woodworth; one grandson, Brian Thomas and one nephew, Ronald Woodworth. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 3 pm from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Hazel Morris-Harvey officiating. A reception will be held in the Fireside Room of York Funeral Home before the graveside service. Interment will be in the Taymouth Community Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are: Bryon Gourley III, Derrick Thomas, Tony Floyd, Matthew Hatt, Chris Brewster and Fred Hutchinson.
