BARTON, H. ALEXANDER At the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, on Sunday, November 28th, 2004 H. Alexander Barton (Alec) of the Range, in his 93rd year; survived by his wife Bessie Barton of sixty-one years, daughters Donna (Wayne) Kennedy of The Range, Dorothy (Terry) Taylor of Fredericton, Patty Brogan of Hampton and Shelley (Joe) Barton of Halifax; three grandchildren, Patrick, Bailey and Ashley Brogan; two sisters M. Opal Barton of The Range and Velma Wyman of Saint John. Predeceased by infant son John Howard, by parents Willard and Bridget (McNamara) Barton and by brother Joseph Barton. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Wednesday December 1st, 2004 when funeral services will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mitchell Foley officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and at 6:45 p.m. There will be a LOL service, Alec Barton was a member of LOL Branch #113 for over sixty years, and served overseas in World War II.
