JENSEN, LESTER At the Grand Falls General Hospital, November 28, 2004, Mr. Lester Jensen of New Denmark passed away at the age of 82 years. Born at New Denmark in 1922, he was a son of the late Johannes and Ida (Rasmussen) Jensen. He is survived by three children, Carol Sue Nielsen (Sherman) of Fredericton, John L. Jensen (Jo Ann) of Hay River, N.W.T. and Paul M. Jensen of New Denmark, five grandchildren, Trevorr (Alison), Tabitha (Jason), Kristi (Michael), Jack and Paula, two great grandchildren, Nadia and Dieken, the mother of his children, Jeannette (Rioux) Jensen of Fredericton, two sisters, Phyllis MacDonald of New Denmark and Alice MacDonald (Robert) of Moncton, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, George and Maxwell. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. His funeral service will be held Friday, December 3rd at 2 p.m. from St. Ansgar's Anglican Church, New Denmark, with Rev. Julie Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
