SPENCER, GRETA KATHLEEN The death of Greta Kathleen Spencer, widow of the late Murray Spencer, occurred November 30, 2004 at home, Burtt's Corner, at the age of 89. Born October 4, 1915 in JonesForks, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A. and Comfort (McGeorge) White. Greta was a member of the Burtt's Corner Church of Christ. She is survived by daughters, Colleen Pugh of Burtt's Corner, Donna Grant (Hollis) of Saint John, Sandra Crouse (Burtis) of Burtt's Corner; sons, M. Gary Spencer (Phyllis) of Douglas, David Spencer of Fredericton, Darrel Spencer (Maxine) of Douglas; brother Clarence White (Elma) of Jones Forks, NB; sister, Marjorie Brewer of Prince George, BC; half brothers, Douglas and Robert, White; half sister Linda Fox; 17 grandchildren; including 2 special granddaughters, Janis Walker, Jill Feero, 22 great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brother, Elmer; sisters, Helena White, Vergie McMinn and Verna Urquhart; son-in-law, Garth Pugh; half brother Norman White. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton, NB. The Funeral will take place at the Burtt's Corner, Church of Christ on Thursday, December 2, 2004 at 2 PM with Pastor Graham Crandall officiating.
