THELMA MAE (CLOWATER) HAINES

HAINES, THELMA MAE (CLOWATER) The passing of Thelma Mae (Clowater) Haines, wife of the late Eldon Samuel Haines, of Woolastook Manor, Gagetown, NB formerly of Nashwaaksis, occurred at the Manor on November 1st, 2004. Born in New Bandon, NB, Thelma was a daughter of the late James and Minnie (McAleer) Clowater. She was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church of Canada, the Nashwaaksis UCW and Women's Institute. Mrs. Haines is survived by one son, Jim Haines (Hilda) of Fredericton; one daughter, Phyllis Camp (Bob) of Lakeville Corner; six grandchildren, Rachel, Troy, Robbie, Shawn, Peter and Janice; two great grandchildren, India and Mason; two sisters, Peace Davies of Los Angeles, CA and Elva Elliott of Prince George, BC and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Thelma was predeceased by two brothers, Corry and James Clowater; 4 sisters, Ivy Hallett, Vera Read, Wilfreda Ruotsalainen and Janet Merchland. No visitation by the request of Thelma. A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday December 3, 2004 at 2PM with Rev. Franklin Curtis and Rev. H. G. MacKenzie officiating. Following the interment in the Douglas Rural Cemetery a reception will be held at York Funeral Home's fireside room.
