LINDA MAUDE ADAMS
ADAMS, LINDA MAUDE Linda Adams, 93 years of age passed away on December 1, 2004 in Campbellton, NB. Born June 17, 1911 in Shigawake, QC. Predeceased by her father, Herbert Journeaux (1940), her mother, Maude Travers (1955). Linda Adams worked as a teacher for 40 years, and was involved in many organizations within her church. Such as the youth group, and "Friendly Room" while in Matapedia, QC. Linda was a member of Business Professional Women's Canada. She was a life member of "Women's Institute", and Wrens 1941 and 1942 administration as a regulating officer. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Mike) Kulesza, of Bathurst, NB; sons, Ross (Lise) Adams of Pointe Claire, QC, Peter (Alison) Adams, of Fredericton, NB; Her sister, Mayor Hazel McCallion of Mississauga. ON. Also survived by her only granddaughter Victoria Kulesza, only grandson Jamie Adams, one nephew, and many nieces. Predeseased by her sister Gwen Carpener of Burlington, ON and by her brother, Lorne (1972), and Lockhart (1964). Predeceased by her first husband, Wheeler Adams (1967); her second husband William Salmon (1986), and son Wheeler (1954) at the age of nine . Funeral services will be held in St.. Andrew's United Church on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 4PM. Officiated by Wendell Gregan. Internment in the Matapedia Cemetary spring 2005.The pallbearers are Noel Journeaux, Lynden Bechervaise, Jack Mac Naughton, Nelson Thibault, S.M. "Bud" Adams, and Jackie Lyons. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Restigouche Health Authority Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton, NB.
