SMILEY, MAJOR WILLIAM "BILL" JOHN The death of Major Bill Smiley of Lincoln, NB occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on Saturday, December 4th, 2004. Born in Ottawa, ON on June 12th, 1970, he was the son of John and Kathleen (Grant) Smiley and husband of Suzanne "Sue" (Schuldt) Smiley. Bill was a wonderful husband and father who demonstrated his deep love and commitment to family every day. Recently posted to Base Gagetown, he embraced his new position with enthusiasm and dedication, always striving to make a difference in all he did. He loved people, and he was respected by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sue (Suzie) and his three beautiful daughters, Autumn Marie, Finola Megan and Abigail Raine; his parents, John and Kathleen of Aylmer, PQ; sister, Lynn McRae, brother-in-law, Darin and soon to be nephew, of Belleville, ON; grandmother, Ethel Grant of Vancouver, BC; parents-in-law, Al and Jennifer Schuldt of Ancaster, ON; sister-in-law, Diane Schuldt and family of Fort McMurray, AB, and countless friends and colleagues. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 8th, 2004 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 9th, 2004 at 1:30 pm. Rev. Chris Levan officiating.
