RICHARD, JOHN (JEAN-NOEL) JOSEPH The death of John (Jean-Noel) Joseph Richard of Fredericton, husband of Loretta (Chisholm) Richard occurred on Monday, December 6, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Ste. Anne-dekent, NB, he was a son of the late Romeo and Marguerite (Boudreau) Richard. Mr. Richard was a Retired Trades Commissioner for the Federal Government and was affiliated with St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Karen Richard (Greg Macpherson) of Fredericton; two sons, Dana Richard (Brenda Hale) of Riverview, NB and Kevin Richard of Fredericton; he was lovingly known as Papérè to grandchildren, Andrew and Luke Richard, Connor, Dara and Maggie Macpherson; one brother, Ronnie Richard (Kathy) of Saint John, NB. Besides his parents, Mr. Richard was predeceased by one infant brother, Ronnie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 9, 2004 at 12 Noon from St. Dunstan's Roman Catholic Church, Regent Street, Fredericton with Monsignor Brian Sheehan as the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Hermitage Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are: Greg Macpherson, Steven Boyd, Ron Roy, Brian Donovan, Brian Saunders and Hazen Spinney. Honourary Pallbearers are: Albert Macpherson, Fraser Hale, Warren Mitchell, Mert Mitchell, Don Legere and Doug Bailey. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation Palliative Care and Pediatric Units would be appreciated by the family.
